This past weekend was my birthday, so I decided to do one of my favorite makeup looks for it using, of course, pink and brown shades. I love this look, it’s so easy and makes such a pretty eye, I even got a couple compliments on it!
Step 1 is, as always, prime! Today I used the Lorac Behind the Scenes Primer. This primer works so well, my eyeshadow didn’t budge once! It comes free with Lorac palettes, which is a plus.
Next I worked MAC’s Saddle into the crease. Saddle is a nice matte brown, which makes it a great transitional color.
Next I packed All That Glitters onto the lid. This is probably one of my all time favorite colors. I’m drawn to shimmery pinks/champagnes, and this is just that. If you’re looking for your first MAC eyeshadow to get, definitely go for this one! It’s honestly the best.
To deepen the look, I worked Woodwinked into the outer V. This is a shimmery brown color that is absolutely gorgeous.
To finish off the look, I dragged Woodwinked along the outer half of the lower lash line, and All That Glitters along the inner half. I find that this really helps to open up the eyes. I highlighted under the brow bone with Vanilla by MAC. As always, I lined my water line using a kohl liner, and then a liquid liner along the top lash line with a wing. Finish off with some mascara and voila!
