Last week was both the Sephora VIB Sale and the Ulta Platinum Sale. I went a little crazy, but in my defense, I had a lot of points saved up at Ulta, so I ended up getting $170 off my purchase with the 20% off and all the points, so it was worth it. I had also been eyeing a few products at Sephora so I decided to grab those while they were on sale. All in all, I got everything here for under $100, so it was a pretty good deal.
I had gone to Ulta with the intention of getting two Benefit blushes, but when I saw this box set, I new I had to get this instead. It was $58, which was the same price that two blushes would have been alone, and had both the blushes that I wanted to try in it, so needless to say it was quite a steal. The box comes with 4 blushes, Dandelion, Rockateur, Coralista, and Dallas, and the Hoola Bronzer. Everything in here is amazing quality, so they definitely didn’t skimp out when making the set.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Brush #12
This was something that I’ve been needing for a long time, because I had been filling in my brows with an eyeliner brush with no spoolie. So I picked this up and have been really loving it.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone
I love Becca’s highlighters, I only had one (Champagne Pop) but it was the best thing ever. The powder is so finely milled and buttery and just amazing. My boyfriend was actually the one who kind of encouraged me to get this because I was torn between a few items. I’m so glad I did, because this looks so natural on my skin, it’s definitely shimmery, but the color blends really well with my skin so I don’t look like I have any stripes on my face.
Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick in Peony
I actually originally picked this up in Sugar, but when I tried it on at home I realized that the color of the lipstick literally matches my skin exactly. Not a good look. So I swapped it out for Peony, which is such a pretty pink color, one that will get a lot of wear this spring. The actual formula of this is beyond amazing. It’s not drying or sticky, and the color lasts so long. I definitely recommend trying these out because I’m in love.
Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Inner Rim Brightener
I was looking for a good inner rim liner, and I read this had really good reviews. It’s a bright peach color, so it doesn’t stand out too much by being stark white. I haven’t used this yet, but I’m excited to because it will look amazing in spring for a bright eye look.
Philosophy Purity Facial Cleanser
I picked this up because I wanted a more gentle cleanser that also removed makeup. This cleanser has surpassed all my expectations. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but it’s totally worth it. My skin has started producing less oil since using this, and I feel like all my makeup is gone at the end of the night, which is exactly what I wanted.
Hourglass Luminous Light
I had heard so many people raving about this online, so I was dying to try it out. This is a finishing powder, so you use it after you finish your makeup. It’s not a powder to set makeup, it’s supposed to add glow after you’re done. I’ve only used this once but I really liked the look of it.
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder
This is another product that I heard people raving over. It’s a loose powder that’s supposed to brighten your under eye area and set your concealer. I apply this with a damp beauty blender under my eyes and then brush off any excess powder. I’ve only used this once so far, but it did an incredible job setting my under eyes, I had absolutely no creasing.
