July 2016 Favorites

Hello again! It’s time for another monthly favorites! Hopefully everyone’s summer is going super well and you’re having great weather! Personally, I’m super excited for fall to come, because I’m over having all these 90+ degree days. I’m too tan for all my face makeup and don’t have the money to buy all new stuff. But anyways, favorites time!

Tartelette in Bloom Palette
I feel like in every palette there’s always one or two colors that I never touch, but not with this one. Everything in here is super wearable, which is why it’s my summer go to. I love the mauve and pink shades in here, because they make such a gorgeous, casual look. The shadows are also really pigmented and smell like vanilla! Can’t beat that!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel
I got a free sample of this last month at Ulta and have been absolutely loving it ever since. It keeps my brows perfectly in place, like no hair can stray out of place. When you use it for the first time, it is a little hard to get used to because your brows feel stiff and almost like they’re stuck to your face. But you get over that feeling really quick. My makeup is not complete without this now, and I will definitely get the full sized version when my sample runs out.

Make Up For Ever Artist Palette #1
This has always been one of my favorite palettes, the colors in it are amazing and the formula is to die for. Lately I have been using this non stop. I love the bronze and gold colors in this palette, because they make the perfect summer look. They also blend so well!

Benefit Ka-Brow
This is another free sample that I picked up at Ulta. I ended up getting the lightest color, which was a bummer at first, but then I realized it’s the perfect color for my inner brow. It makes such a good transition from the scarce hairs to the more thick brows. The formula of this is pretty close to the wax from the Brow-Zings, but a little thinner. It’s definitely something you have to be light handed with, though, because too much makes your brows look chunky. I do hate the packaging on this though. It’s not an issue on the full-sized version, but the little container with the wax in it is super hard to get into because the opening is so small and the brush is so big. So if you do try the sample sized out, be wary of that.

Foreo Luna Mini
I did a first impressions on this here if you want to check it out, and I’m going to do a full review on it after one full month of use, but this is my current obsession. It makes my skin feel so soft and clean. I know that it’s getting all my makeup and sweat off, so I don’t have to worry about waking up with acne from that. I have already noticed such a difference in my skin and can’t wait to see what it will look like in the upcoming weeks.

What have you been loving this month?

  1. The MUFE palette is so pretty! I got the Benefit Ka-Brow sample at Ulta too and I like it. I agree that the packaging could be improved though. Keep up posted on the Foreo Luna Mini. I have a Clarisonic, but I don’t love it. I’m interested in the Luna so I’d love to see what your long term results are.

  2. The Tartlette in bloom palette looks absolutely amazing! Was wondering whether to buy it or not as I’ve not tried anything Tarte before, but you’ve definitely made my mind up for me that it will be my next beauty purchase 🙂 xx
