So if you’ve been following me for awhile, you’ll know that I picked up the Foreo Luna Mini during the Nordstrom Semi-Annual sale. I wrote a post on it after one week of use, which you can check out here if you haven’t read it and you want to check it out. And I wanted to update everyone on my thoughts on it after a month of using it.
So I am one of the many lucky people on the planet with oily skin and huge pores. Like I’m talking huge. If you were standing two feet away from me, you could see the pores on my cheeks. I also have very sensitive and acne prone skin, so a lot of things break me out, like certain types of makeup.
Since I have started using the Luna, the size of my pores has gone down immensely. Like you can barely even see the ones on my cheeks. They aren’t clogged anymore, which means they aren’t huge. I 100% know this is down to the Luna, because I haven’t changed anything else about my skin care routine, which I have been doing religiously for the past 4 years.
I tried to find a picture from before I started using the Luna that really showed off the size of my pores, and then I took one earlier today to show a before and after comparison. Obviously the biggest difference is my coloring, because the before picture (left) was taken in the winter, and the after (right) was taken right after the summer. That aside, you can really see the difference in size. Although my pores are still noticeable, they are soo much smaller.
My skin also feels less oily as the day goes on. There were some days where I needed to blot 2-3 times to get all the oil off and to keep my face from looking shiny. Now I can get by with only blotting once if at all. My cheeks in particular are way less oily, my forehead still gets oily but not as bad.
As far as acne goes, I still do get the occasional breakout, mainly on my jawline. I have noticed that I get a lot less cystic acne, though, and the acne that I do get is usually small whiteheads that go away within the day. I don’t know how much of this is down to the Luna, but I think that it’s definitely helping, because it’s keeping my pores clear so they don’t develop into pimples.
If you’re someone with oily skin, I definitely recommend getting this. The price may seem a bit steep but it’s definitely worth it. The wonders it has done to shrink my pores alone makes it more than worth it to me. If you have acne prone skin, I would also recommend this, because it will help keep your pores clear which could help to reduce breakouts. I can’t personally speak for dry skin, but I have read a lot of reviews from people with dry skin who also love this. Overall, I think this is an incredible product. It cleans my skin so well, that I don’t feel clean without it now. Definitely try this out for yourself if you get the chance to!
