I’m very into skin care. I take it very seriously, and am always looking for new products to add to my routine to make my skin the absolute best that it can be. A couple days ago I posted about my morning skincare routine (which you can check out here if you missed it). I use different products depending on the time of day, and putting it all into one huge post seemed like it would be too long, so I decided to separate it into two different posts. This one is about my nighttime routine (in case you couldn’t tell by the title, haha). I also added in the face masks that I use regularly and love.
Skin care is something that I take very seriously. Growing up, I had terrible acne, to the point where my classmates would make fun of me. So once I found a routine that got my skin under control, I stuck to it for dear life. I’ve been using the same products for about four years now, and my skin has cleared up substantially. There are a few products that I’ve changed around since my last post about this, which is why I decided to make an updated post. My morning and night routine do vary, which is why I’m going to make two separate posts. The nighttime routine will also include the face masks that I’ve been using and loving lately.
I get serious FOMO when it comes to makeup. Like, whenever I see something that is limited edition, I feel like I have to get it or I’ll regret it for the rest of my life. This usually results in me impulse buying something that I definitely don’t need. On my last trip to Ulta, I went in with the intention of buying more of my face serum, and somehow ended up walking out with Tarte’s newest palette, the ManEater eyeshadow palette.
It’s officially 2017! Which means Best of Beauty! Most of the things on this list were a no brainer, because they are things that I have gone through completely and had to repurchase, or things that I still use almost daily. A few things on this list I had to give a little thought to because they were things I mainly use during summer, so I haven’t touched them in awhile, but I still love them! If you’ve been following me for awhile, a lot of the things on this list will pretty obvious, because I’ve raved about them in so many posts.
Hey everyone! Hopefully you all had an amazing holiday season! Mine was super hectic. Between work, all the holiday festivities, and getting sick, I feel like I haven’t stopped in weeks! Anyways, I am back with yet another haul post!
I’ve always wanted to try out products from Zoeva. So many people rave about their brushes and palettes because they are so cheap but still high quality. I could never bring myself to complete my order, though, because of how expensive shipping was. For Black Friday, they did their first ever sale, giving 20% off everything on the site. I knew I had to place an order, so I set my alarm for 6 am when the sale was starting (I got off work at 3 am). After an hour of the website continually crashing and reloading, I finally placed my order.
Favorites posts always get away from me. I feel like I never get them up on time, because something always comes up (this time it was work and finals), and next thing I know, the month is half over. But better late than never, right? This month I have been loving a few new purchases from the Sephora VIB Sale, which I am so excited about! It’s primarily eyeshadows, but that is my makeup obsession, so it’s the thing I buy and use the most!
So way back in March, Too Faced released their limited edition Sweet Peach palette. I went back and forth on whether or not I wanted it, and when I finally decided I did (literally at 5 pm of the launch day) it was out of stock everywhere. And I mean everywhere. I checked every website, Ulta, Sephora, and Sephora in JCPenney near me, and none of them had the palette. I was heartbroken. When I heard it was coming back in stock for Christmas, I knew I had to get it. Fast forward to December 2nd at 1 am, I’m glued to my computer anxiously trying to get the early release of the palette. After the website crashing multiple times, and my computer crashing, I finally get the palette, at 2:45 am (and thanks to my lovely boyfriend for buying me it as a Christmas gift). I thought that everything would be smooth sailing from there, but nope. A few days later, I see my palette was delivered to my school, but I never got a slip notifying me to pick up a package. I checked every day for the next five days, but never got a slip. I got fed up and asked if someone would check the mailroom, and sure enough, my package is sitting there, they just forgot to give me my slip.
Needless to say, getting this palette was probably one of the most difficult things ever, but I have it and it’s mine and I love it. So in honor of the launch tomorrow, I decided to post my review!
